New Year's Eve

Does anyone know of any New Year's packages that don't cost a fortune? I'm thinking along the lines of hotel party where a large group of friends can get a table for dinner, drinks, dancing, music, etc. The one at the Galt House is like $300/couple. Ouch! My wallet just pinched me.

The South Oldham Rotary is hosting a Vegas themed “Rockin’ New Years Eve Gala” at Waldeck Mansion in Crestwood. You’ll find live music, dancing, Vegas style games, appetizers, champagne toast, cash bar, silent & live auction plus a light breakfast all close to home. Tickets are $100 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and Operation: SPIRIT. Cocktail attire. 8 pm-1 pm.
