Silly question about wine

by David Swanson » Fri Apr 26, 2013 10:31 pm

Is this stuff available in the Ville? I don't care if it tastes like mad dog, but my wife is in love with this Buble fellow.

I think That is regular Beringer moscato in special packaging. It has been a while since it was around. If you find it, that wine will be far past it's best by date.

I don't care if it expired in 1987. Is it in any stores around here?

David,
I'd try calling Liquor Barn and asking- they could look it up in their computer.

Liquor barn will look it up and say yes we have it. The sku is the same as regular beringer moscato.

I might actually have one of them at my store. Will check tomorrow evening.

Good point , Eric.

David, I was at the Liquor Barn in Springhurst today and scanned that section while I was at it- no Buble. :(

I'm betting that wine promotion is a little outdated, but you're a good man to expend the search effort. Looks like Michael has some new material out:

I might suggest buying it and a full 750 ml of Beringer, which should be easy to find. Print the image you included in the post and let her know you got her the next best thing. Then, take her to the concert next time he's through here. You'll be a hero........

When Buble last played at the Yum Center I got a text from the Mrs. in the middle of the concert: "I just touched Buble". It will be hard to beat that!

We saw him several years ago - before the YUM! Center and before he was popular enough to fill it. On the way home from the concert, we saw a huge tour bus parked on Bardstown Road in front of Graeter's at Douglass Loop. I said "I bet that's Michael Bubles group", and sure enough, the whole band was alone in the place standing in line for ice cream. No Michael, though. They told me he had separate transportation to the next gig.

I just saw about 6 or 7 4-packs on the shelf at the Beverage Warehouse in the Kroger anchored shopping center at the southeast corner of 3rd Street and Central Avenue.

Go get 'em tiger!

Thanks Steve. My wife and I went to the UofL baseball game tonight and then dropped into Beverage Warehouse and grabbed a couple of 4-packs.
