Apologies if this has already been discussed, but is the KFC closing?

I believe it is being remodeled as a new concept approach from YUM.

There's a little info about it in today's Insider Louisville Monday Business Briefing. Toward the end of the article.

Maybe they are doing some training on how not to run out of chicken at 8pm on a Saturday night. Yeah, that happened to us the last (and I mean last) time we tried to patronize that (or any) KFC.

Happens nearly every time I visit a KFC. I get the "we are out of white meat" or we are out of strips/boneless breasts etc.

Wasn't the current incarnation of KFC their model new KFC. I wonder if that says something about the new concept or if they are using that location to try out new things.

It was my understanding that this location was specifically designed to be the test store for new concepts and designs. It has been in its current iteration for several years now. A change is not unexpected or surprising.

The lack of chicken is.
