Fiction to the best of my knowledge. Their business appears strong to an outside observer, and they've done a great job of meeting the new competition from Whole Foods and the growth of Rainbow Blossom.
You may have heard of talk about the Bauer family, which owns the ground under the former Azalea and Dolls and part of the Brownsboro Center shopping center, seeking a buyer or lease for the old Azalea property. Doll's however, was reported at the time as being safe under a long-term lease.
A similar rumor caused some problems for Doll's a while back - the false story gained enough attention that management felt obliged to post signs denying it. I hope that's not starting up again.
