Burger's to return, sort of, at Middletown Paul's

My brother and I can't express how much Burgers Market meant to us.It was the only job we ever had.Our dad taught us that hard work and kindness to your customers will carry you as long as you want......and it did. We thank everyone.

We also have great news!!!!!

Pauls Fruit Market--- The Middletown store---has hired Ernie, Dennis, Andy, Jeff Jr,Bethany and our sister Jolene. Paul's has a full service meat counter with the same excellent quality Burger's had. They also have our country hams, just in time for the derby. Call them and order your box lunches for Oaks and Derby(253-0072). The employees at Paul's are great people.

I almost forgot the best news, Paul's is doing our chicken sandwich!!!!

It will be interesting to see how this will be integrated into the store. The store is already quite congested, so it doesn't look like they will be able to commit much more area to this project. It certainly will make it easier for us who live in the East end to hopefully take advantage of some of the best of Burger's.

Well, I welcome this since the Middletown Paul's is my "Paul's of choice" since I live on THAT side of the Watterson (yes Robin, that was a minor dig  )....I will be sure to swing by and check it out....although, I am not sure, like Mark, where the devil they are going to fit all that stuff in that store.....it's bumper baskets in there at best on a busy Saturday

Cheers!

My mom told me they're doing a lot of construction/renovations/expansion on that store. Perhaps this is part of the reason.

We went by there today and I didn't see any signs of construction on the outside so they must be doing everything within the confines of the existing building. They also have a sign out by the street, saying, "Meat Counter now open."

I was there yesterday. The meat counter is tucked into a corner to the right of the deli. The meat looked great and the butcher couldn't have been nicer when he told me they didn't yet have brisket :(. He said they are still in the process of determining what to carry. I'll go back. I don't find that Paul's anymore crowded than Holiday Manor.
