Frankfort Ave Food Truck Sunday April 21 at St. Joe's

by Robin Garr » Sat Apr 13, 2013 12:49 pm

A news release from Frankfort Avenue Business Association. Sounds like fun, although the food-truck squadron seems limited in size ... four, or maybe three plus a booth ... does Homemade have a truck?

Frankfort Avenue Business Association (FABA) will host their first ever Food Truck Sunday on Sunday, April 21, featuring local food trucks on the lawn of St. Joseph Children’s Home, 2823 Frankfort Ave., from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sidewalk sales from local retailers and neighborhood residents will continue along the avenue from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Participating food trucks include Grind Gourmet Burger , Sweet 'N' Savory, French Indo-Canada, and the Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen.

FABA is encouraging all members to participate by being open on this Sunday and setting out discounted items, end of season merchandise, live music, face painting, or whatever works for you! We want this to be an annual event the day after Thunder Over Louisville.

Pie Kitchen has a fifth-wheel pull-behind food cart. They had it out at the Highlands week thing last year.

Thanks for info, Ron! Not quite a truck, but at least it's on wheels! :D
