LOUISVILLE ORIGINALS ANNOUNCES NEW ADDITION
Louisville, Kentucky – The Louisville Originals are committed to preserving a culinary sense of place. The Louisville Originals welcomes Eiderdown food & drink to our group. Restaurants are eligible to join every six months. The full list can be found on the Louisville Originals web site at www.louisvilleoriginals.com.

Eiderdown food & drink, located in Germantown at 983 Goss Avenue, will begin accepting the Louisville Originals Rewards Card at the end of April. The frequent diner card rewards customers for dining at Louisville Originals restaurants. Patrons can sign up for a FREE Louisville Originals Rewards Card at any Louisville Original restaurant. Every time a rewards card carrying patron dines at any LO restaurant, they receive one point for each dollar spent. When 150 points are accumulated, the patron’s card is automatically credited for $10. The $10 reward can be used on the next Louisville Originals visit or can be stored on the card while accumulating more points. Patrons can receive up to 500 points per visit, and redeem up to $100 per visit. The first Tuesday of the month is Double Points Tuesday when patrons automatically receive double points for dining at a Louisville Originals restaurant.

For 2013, Louisville Originals is working with the JCPS School Garden Program to promote food education. The organization recently made a $1000 donation for gardening supplies.
The Louisville Originals funding comes in part through the sale of online discount web certificates from our restaurants. Every quarter a limited number of discount web certificates are available through the association web site with the next sale scheduled for April 11. Additional funding comes through the sale of the Louisville Originals Gift Card. A great local gift for any special occasion, the Louisville Originals Gift Card is accepted at all of our restaurants. Gift cards can be purchased online, at all ValuMarket stores, and at the Louisville Visitor’s Center with amounts from $25 up to $1000 assigned to the card. The gift cards can be used multiple times at Louisville Original restaurants.
