If you love Vietnamese food and are on the adventurous side, you're in luck! The Vietnamese community is celebrating Tet this Sunday and there will be 7 food vendors there with an array of Vietnamese food. These are local churches and temples cooking things like banh mi (sandwich), egg rolls, spring rolls, papaya salad, sweets, vermicelli and pork, and a lot of other traditional dishes you won't find at Vietnam kitchen. Four Sisters (a new crepe place to debut in April at the old Zen Tea House location) will be selling their food for the first time here. Heard they're good!
Bring your cash and appetite, it won't get any more authentic than this stay for the dragon dance, fashion show and traditional dances.
Sunday 2/17 4 pm-8 pm, Iroquois high school auditorium.
