Marketplace updates menu

by Robin Garr » Wed Apr 03, 2013 11:01 am

Just caught this in Email, looks like good stuff from Chef Dallas for spring.

We have brought the black bean burger back to our lunch menu as well as added a few new treasures. We have already started the new menu so come down as soon as you can. Don't worry, we still have the truffled fries and 48 hour beef short ribs that keep us on your mind, but he's added some intriguing new dishes..

Help us welcome back the bbq pork risotto fritters and the roasted brussels sprouts appetizer. Don't stop there, the border springs farm lamb & onion flatbread with garlic ricotta cheese and tzatziki is amazing.

Reservations can be made online at www.theatersquaremarketplace.com or by phone 625-3001

Thanks for posting Robin! Check out our entire menu on the website. I am very happy with this menu. We are using some great producers and some amazing products for the summer. My favorites are the Border Springs Farm Lamb Sugo with Red Wine Rigatoni and the Green Pea and Bacon (really pork belly) Risotto with white truffle oil and parmesan. Good stuff. I hope to see some of you all in soon!

We ate there last night and it was great! J had the lamb sugo and I had the scallops. We started with the delicious goat cheese app, then spinach salad and a Caesar salad. My only issue was the salads were over-dressed, but tasty. We cleaned our plates!

I think Marketplace is one of the hidden dining gems in town. It's work a trip just to see the place inside, and they had the best outdoor dining in town.

Thanks for coming in Robin F!
I will keep an eye on the salads! Sorry they were overdressed. We need that kind of feedback to make our menu, staff, and your experience better! Thanks so much. It's so nice that the Louisville locals are coming back downtown to see what's happening down here. We have had a ton of local business lately and I can't wait until people come and dine on our patio! It really is a hidden gem.

Alan and I went in on Monday (his night off) and Dallas didn't disappoint in the least. Alan had the Spare Ribs and I had the Scollops....both were prepared to perfection. And of course, the evening was made even better by a visit from Dallas himself to catch up. A very enjoyable, and filling, evening.
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

It truly is the best patio in town. I'll use any excuse to eat there- it's great even in iffy weather as the roof is covered. Lovely!
The food - it goes without saying at this point- is Fabulous! One of our favorite places in town for the food and the experience.
