PRESS RELEASE
The North End Café will be celebrating its 10th Birthday Wednesday April 3rd, 2013.
The Original Frankfort Avenue location, 1722 Frankfort Avenue, and the newly opened Highlands location, 2116 Bardstown Road will be serving free Birthday cake ALL DAY on April 3rd. More specials and give aways throughout our Birthday month. How often do you get invited to a birthday party, where you get the presents?
The North End Café was opened by Chef Christopher Seckman, and brothers, Walton and Dr. Whitney Jones in April 2003 in a converted brick house at 1722 Frankfort Ave. The name was created when real estate broker Walt noted that Louisville has a South End, a West End and an East End, but no “North End”. So the North End was born. At first the café served only breakfast and lunch, but customers clamored for more. The partners soon expanded into the building next door and added a large bar and dining room.
With an emphasis on locally sourced, (they even plant their own garden) made from scratch, fresh food, and BREAKFAST ALL DAY, the North End Café has become a Louisville dining destination. Last year the North End Highlands opened in the former Grotto location, 2116 Bardstown Road.
Hours are Monday 8am-2pm, Tuesday—Saturday 8am-10pm, Sunday 8am-9pm. Banquet room available for Private Parties, Meetings, and Receptions.
