Great Harvest Bread is FOR LEASE!

Sadly, the Great Harvest on Hurstbourne appears to be no more- the store is up for lease! My mom thought she saw some being sold in a store, but she can't remember where...does anyone know? So sad- they have been a staple for nearly as long as I can remember!

I have a loaf of Dakota bread in the freezer that tastes nearly as good as it did fresh...I will enjoy it!

I think there is a new company doing the Great Harvest breads in the J-Town industrial park. The name of the company and address on the bread changed a couple of months ago in Kroger, but I can't remember what it was. Same great bread, though.

It's called Wild Flour Bakehouse now; I know they sell it at the Hubbard's Lane Kroger. Probably other places, too. Their phone number is 499-9956.

Yeah, I wondered why Doll's was on there, and I forgot about Burger's closing, Craziness...

That's about as bad as the Entertainment books, lol!

The owner decided to get out of the retail & deli operation and just do wholesale. Closed the retail site in Plainview a little over a month ago and went into a warehouse / distribution center. Not sure if you can walk in and purchase or not...

There are other locations - 2 in Lexington that I know of. The Dakota bread is a staple in my life, and I'd be destroyed to lose it.
