Local Cake Bakers that do not use PHOs

by Adam Arnold » Fri Mar 08, 2013 3:36 pm

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone knew of any local cake bakers that do not use partially hydrogenated oils (trans fat). I tried sweet stuff, but that was a no.

Thanks!

Annie May's Sweet Cafe uses palm oil, I think. http://www.anniemayssweetcafe.com/ If you click on Menu and then download the Bakery Menu PDF, there are full ingredients lists for everything sweet thing she offers and every flavor of cake and frosting.

Cake Flour could be another good bet.
