A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

I have nothing good to say about Bud, but this lawsuit is really stupid.

Bud products are well within the tolerance the TTB/states require.

Texas tests the ABV of beers as part of the label approval process, you can check out the results on their website. I was just there (seeing this story on another site).

Here are some examples, tested vs label:

Black Crown 6.17% vs 6%.
Bud Light Platinum 6.19% vs 6%
Bud Light 4.17% vs 4.2%

The TTB requirement is +/- .3% ABV, so Bud Light, if it says 4.2% on the label, can be between 3.9% and 4.5% and meet federal requirements.

Does ABI water down their beers? Absolutely. They brew them to higher strength and then water down to the target.
