Feast BBQ and Tofu

by James Natsis » Fri Feb 15, 2013 4:59 pm

Carnivores most likely won't care to veer from their pulled pork comfort zones (and I don't blame ya), but any vegetarians out there may enjoy the, at least what I found to be, delightful change. I had a tofu sandwich there this afternoon--nice smokey BBQ aroma and a good sauce to pour over it. ...By the way, Feast BBQ and The Exchange are side-by-side in a beautifully rehabbed building on W. Main for those who haven't been to New Albany lately. They both are great additions to the already burgeoning dining scene there.......Keep up the good work comrades on the other side of the bridge. I'm willing to make a trek there from time to time!

I'm a card carrying carnivore and can also vouch for the quality of their tofu. I'm never one to actively pursue tofu, but Feast does it right.

Feast does beer and bourbon right as well as Q. I've stopped in several times to enjoy a couple of pints. I'm pretty traditional when it comes to drinking beer and I never would have thought I'd be drinking real beer from a mason jar. You know what? It tastes just as good and the best testament is that I find myself wanting to do it again.

Those of you who have lamented the hop heavy inventory at your Louisville locals need only veer a couple miles west to New Albany to find a story-worthy pub crawl just waiting to happen.
I'm a bitter drinker....I just prefer it that way
