Quattro recommendations?

by Deb Hall » Fri Feb 15, 2013 1:53 pm

We are going to Quattro tonight pre- theatre-( I'm hoping the early reservation will avoid V-Day issues. )
Has anyone been? Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Deb

We went last weekend and loved every single thing we all four tried. Calamari was excellent, as were the mussels. I loved the short rib and the Pappardelle. I was even impressed with the service and it only being opened such a short time.

Took my wife there last night for her Valentines dinner.

It was a prix fixe menu so I don't know if any of the items we had will be on the menu or specials, but they were all good. Wife had a scallop app, Black Grouper, and hazelnut chocolate ice cream with braised cherries for dessert. I had a red beet/blood orange/goat cheese app/salad, Black Grouper, and some sort of semolina and olive oil concoction for desert that was delicious.

We were there early and had a delightful discussion with Bim about his involvement in the restaurant scene for so many years. There is some real talent in the kitchen and front of house. Loved everything we had and I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu.

Enjoy!
