Pats Steakhouse

Going to PSH tomorrow night for the first time in many years. I do remember having fantastic service and a good quality steak. Any recent suggestions or comments?

No recent experience or recommendations, but just your mention of them makes me crave their perfect proteins, lima beans, seasoned service (your server has typically worked for them for at least 20 years), and cash only policy (this just somehow sits so well with me). I love them and will make it a point to show it soon.

And they're good people.

Good people tend to do good food.

They're good like that.

I had a very good raw oyster cocktail there. Wanted it for my entree and was brought , oh, I don't know, a bloody blue million very large plump oysters. Excellent.

I always thought the whole point of Pat's was that NOTHING EVER CHANGED!

I was there twice recently. I enjoyed it both times. I enjoyed an excellent filet on one occasion and tried their very fine veal cutlets the other time. Pat's is basic food, very well prepared with excellent service.

I'm a fan of the 32oz Porterhouse; and, yes, it's all for me!
