Restaurant for 20 and Caterer for Reception

Hi all,

You were so helpful about my Thanksgiving question, I thought I would try again. I am Chair of aGraduate student symposium that will be held at KMAC on February 23.

As part of this, we will be hosting a dinner on Friday the 22nd for 20 people. We are looking for a restaurant in Louisville that highlights the great food we have here but can do a set menu for $20-25 pp.

We need something similar for Saturday night but for 15.

Finally, we are having a reception at KMAC on the 23rd and are looking for a good but inexpensive caterer for finger foods and the like for 100 people.

The crowd will be arty but we are poor.

Any suggestions?

We have a private event space at Rye that holds up to 30 people. We are booked on the 22nd, however it is available on the 23rd. We can work with in a $25/person price range.

I would contact Cristina at mussel & burger bar. They have tons of space and it seems it would work in your price range. I think it will quickly become a popular place for private events!
