La Rosita Lately?

by Mark P » Fri Feb 01, 2013 2:31 pm

Anyone have a recent experience at La Rosita in New Albany recently? It used to be one of my absolute favorite places, but the wife and I wrote it off a year or so ago due to declining food (can deal with the service). I was excited to hear that Israel was returning last August. I'm craving a Mayan Quesadilla, or Burrito Ahogado, and that green salsa, but the wife is going to need some serious convincing to give it another shot.

I will say its back in its original glory. We had lunch there today and the food was fantastic.

I agree with Todd. We've returned to Rosita's on regular rotation, and Israel has the food back to where it was. Service is better. While this isn't to say there are not outstanding issues, such as the sheer size of that spot (you could fit a Hofbrauhaus in there), the food's been great, and the service has been better.

I Third the other New Albanians and the motion passes.

Expect leftovers.
