Sorry Casey,

Meridian Cafe opens for breakfast at 8AM Mon-Sat.

Wild Eggs opens at 6:30.

Check out WILD EGGS on Dutchman's Lane, I think they open early M-F and 7am on the Weekends

Unless it's changed, they open at 6:30 a.m. on weekdays.

Here's maybe the best bet yet: Mr. Z's Kitchen, 3rd and Breckinridge just south of downtown Louisville, is open at 6 a.m. weekdays.

Very attractive diner, owned by a nice Bosnian family that now also owns Cottage Inn.

Good thought, Frank, but it might not meet Casey's criteria, as I believe Wagner's doesn't open until 8 a.m. on weekdays. Possibly it has longer hours when Churchill Downs is open, I don't know.
