I can give you a couple, just for thought. One, that person's post did turn this topic into a six-page thread, which I guess is worth something. Two, there's already a tendency on this board to cheerlead just because the restaurant is a local and to gang up on anyone with a dissenting opinion. Banning this person would just further that. Hopefully we're all adults here.

So if you are one of those who supports those same ideals, if you talk about higher retail wages or local sourcing or organics etc, your investment may be more than just a short term cash injection into a weak balance sheet. It might just be a bit of fertilizer for something more important.

Good points all the way around. The above paragraph is a useful (perhaps sobering) reminder of how often successes are preceded by failures.

Do you think Rae Hodge and J Dylan are related? Or, maybe it is the same person and J Dylan is her alterego.

Jeff Cavanaugh wrote:my two tacos were so full of meat I had to eat some of it out with a fork before I could pick them up. Also, they were very clear with me and several others in line that the chips are bottomless if you get a Punk Platter; all you have to do is go ask for more.

My experience has always been more like Jeff's than Ron or Doug's, more chips than I want or need, and more than enough in the tortilla to justify the premium price.

All better now. J Dylan exhausted my last sliver of patience and is now gone, and I've cleaned up this thread.

I've got a couple possibilities...
She only shows up occasionally.
She doesn't stalk folks from thread to thread stirring up trouble like a real troll would.

Seem's like she gets whatever it is off her chest and goes back underground, only to emerge again much later.

That doesn't seem like too much trouble to bear.

Never mind.

Oh, I saw them this morning before you zapped them.

I think the sock puppet theory has merit. Sure seems to know what goes on around this place.

Now, if there was only a way to report bogus Yelp reviews........

I am going to assume that's not the case. I don't want to feel distrust for anybody around here who hasn't been banned. 8)

Surely there is. (If it would help in such a quest, Mr/Ms Dylan's Email is cbbroo@aol.com).

I can't see an obvious way to do it. Perhaps you need to be a member?

Beats hell out of me. I've never gone there. :? It seems that they'd almost have to have some kind of recourse for people damaged by libelous and other potentially actionable posts, though.
