Just wanted to provide some more insights on this new place from the owners of Guaca Mole- Fernando and Cristina Martinez). I got to talk to both of them last week, and place sounds fantastic!
For those reading the Guaca Mole thread, you already know its going to be in the former Cafe Perusa space off Taylorsville Road; opening scheduled for January 21st. Per Fernando, their burger will be really special- a combination of ground short rib and other cuts - to give it extra depth of taste and juiciness. They will doing specialty shakes ( blueberry was mentioned) and different mussel presentations. They will also be doing special events which is very exciting. I was unaware that there are three private dining rooms in that space (including seating for up to 150). Fernando says he will be doing a wide variety of menu choices for catering ( Latino, Tapas, etc) and the pricing will be reasonable. Yum! Now I just need to figure out an excuse to have a party.
