What goes with Milk and Bread ? Around here....Toilet Paper.

Good thing this "winter weather advisory" is occurring on a Friday evening...lest schools and God knows what else would be closed on the basis of a -chance- of 1 to 2 inches of snow :?

Was at Kroger's before 8 am this morning--eggs, bread (had milk!) and veggies for soup. Totally not crowded at that time! I was busy the rest of the day but it was a great time to go!

Snowmagedon has begun here in Southern Indiana. There are two or more snowflakes gathered out there already.

Need to rummage around the freezer to see what I can thaw out so I can rustle up a pot of soup to sustain us for the duration of the storm.

Yup there's a little bit out there.....

I was bringing in some food I was smoking tonight a few minutes ago...I'm joking about the "avalanche" on the deck as I'm bringing in the meat..... I guess I had more snow on my house slippers than I realized, mixed in with wood kitchen floor.....and down I Almost went....

Bad slip...chair broke my fall, broke one of my good plates......BUT:

I saved the meat! It was firmly clutched in the tongs in my right hand! Whew!

LOL! My first thought was "save the meat". But I'm glad you're okay!!! Sorry about the plate.

What were you smoking? I was digging around in the freezer tonight for some beef to make soup tomorrow and found some of the Andouille that I smoked a while back. Realized I'll need to make some more soon and got me to thinking about firing up the smoker.
