Chef Jeff Bridges on board at Bourbons Bistro

by Robin Garr » Sun Dec 23, 2012 1:36 pm

Bourbons Bistro Email alerted me to this post on Bourbons Website about Chef Jeff Bridges taking over the kitchen after Chef Michael Crouch moved down the road to Bistro 1860, now open in the former L&N Wine Bar.

Jeff Bridges, new head chef at bourbons bistro, is only 26 yet he brings with him years of experience and talent. He has always loved food and knew from a young age that he would be a chef. At 17, chef bridges won the Indiana state cooking competition and received a scholarship to attend Sullivan university.

After graduating from Sullivan university, Chef Bridges was the executive chef at Hillbilly Tea for one year before joining the staff at Jack Fry's. in 2011, Chef he became their sous chef.

Now, as head chef at Bourbons Bistro, Chef Bridges says, "I could not be happier to design and implement a new menu for Bourbons Bistro. Since 2005, Bourbons has been a mainstay for bourbon lovers from all over the world. I could not be happier to take the menu to a new level."

Bourbons bistro will now be offering daily tastings for bar customers and a new menu will be offered starting December. To make a reservation for New Years visit call 894-8838, email us at welovebourbon@bourbonsbistro.com, or use Open Table, http://www.opentable.com/bourbons-bistro?rid=96883
