Zaytun remodeling?

Driving by last night and my wife noticed what appeared to be a construction crew remodeling Zaytun.

I was driving and did not notice, but she said it looked like the space was down to the studs. Voice mailbox for the phone number at the restaurant is a generic greeting, picks up during business hours, and cannot take any more messages.

Daughter will be home for the holidays soon and that is one of her favorites that she hasn't been able to source very well at WKU. Anybody heard anything about this?

Zaytun has been in the process of remodeling / expanding for a few months now. They are growing into the old Shim's Cleaners space.

They have been open during the expansion, but I haven't been in there for a few weeks.

Zaytun is a big-time favorite of my family. Remy had a smoked brisket gyro on the menu a few weeks ago...the smoked meat was better than many examples that I have had at local BBQ joints! He indicated that he would feature more smoked meats once the expansion is complete.

I was there last week and they were open during the renovations. Perhaps this is the time they are actually punching through that wall and needed to be dark for a few days.

I was a big fan of their brisket at Blue Lagoon. Didn't know they were doing that at Zaytun on their gyros. Daughter will be very pleased that she can still get her Zaytun fix during her holiday break.
