My daughter and her boyfriend will love this. Close by for frequent carryout. If they have Apocalypse beer, might be an alternative some weekends:-)

I sure hope they smoke some BBQ at this place, also. Burgers are great, but their BBQ is something special, and they can't seem to make enough of it at Hammerheads.

I think they will be smoking and curing their own bacon. :)

I'm a big fan of Adam and Chase and what they've done at Hammerheads, and excited to see what's going to happen in their new location.

However, have to say I'm not a fan of the name. We're also big fans of the Grind food truck run by Jesse and Liz Huot and the name Grind House for a place that sells burgers is a little too close to their concept for my comfort.

What do you all think?

My feeling is the Grind wasn't a very original name to begin with but yes a more original name for the Hammerhead guys would have been better.

It is definitely overpriced for the product and the barbecue sauce that everything is smothered in, isn't to die for.

I really like the food at Hammerheads. The BBQ meat is very tender. For me, that is the key to great BBQ, and very few places get it right.

Have they changed something? The last time I was there the sauce was on the table. I would say I'm pretty picky about my bbq and I think their sauce is a very nice change from the sticky sweet served at most places.

Ive never received anything pre-smothered in BBQ sauce either.

Same here. It's on the side. One reason I dig their brisket so much is that it isn't covered in sauce.
