Suzi and I slipped down tonight and partook of the fine vittles.

We had
HOUSE MADE
CHIPS & GUACAMOLE
Traditional 4.5

Suzi stopped me from licking out the bowl. It's good. The chips were nice home fixed. Mildly seasoned so they didn't overwhelm. Coriander & some thing else. Some of the best in town.

TACOS
CARNITAS 3
Slow Cooked Pork Shoulder, Roasted Tomatillo Salsa, Minced White Onion, Cilantro, Orange Wedge

CRISPY FISH 4
PBR Beer-Batter, Shaved Cabbage, Salsa Fresca, Baja Crema

WILD MUSHROOM 3
Roasted Wild Mushrooms, Corn Salsa, Cojita Cheese, Pickled Red Onion

Suzi had the Wild Mushroom and really liked it. She said the Pickled Red Onion was not over powering. I got a couple kernels of the Corn Salsa and it was tasty.

I had the Fish and Carnitas Tacos. YUM! The fish was really nice and the Salsa Fresca has some CILANTRO in it but not enough to ruin the dish. I asked to have the Cilantro left off/out of the Carnitas Taco and they did. It was excellent.

HIGHLIGHT of the night. The Iced Tea. Well done Tony! I don't know who's it is or how it's made, but really good.

We did not imbibe tonight but there is an extensive drink menu. Woodford Reserve X 3. Some nice Italian wines.

lowlight of the night - NO FALLS CITY ON TAP. I know, I know pizza places have it, but really PBR on tap and NOT Falls City. However the other local draft beers - WELL DONE YOUNG MAN!.

We will be going back, probably for lunches on Fridays.

As with other great places along this strip of Main Street, parking is an issue that needs worked out.

The food was really good Tony. Your staff was up to the task. The GM and Asst GM seemed well versed and I would expect your place will do well.

Down the road maybe some mid-week evening we might do an offline there.

Made a delivery there yesterday, they've done a really nice job renovating what was a pretty crummy bar. Definitely excited to try it out once it opens.
