I had a chance to do my first bourbon distillery tour recently. I selected Jim Beam because its the closest to Louisville and I wanted to see the $33 million investments they made as of late. It was well worth it. I was surprised at how expansive and beautiful the grounds were at Jim Beam. The tour lasted about 90 minutes culminating in a two flavor tasting. It was very educational and I look forward to visiting other distilleries in the area.
