Toast on Market

by Thomas Rademaker » Mon Oct 08, 2012 10:31 pm

I was listening to the Jim Rome show this afternoon. He has a national syndicated radio show and a television show. Joy Mohr was guest hosting. He mentioned he was in Louisville and he goes on to say "Louisville stinks,... but I had the best breakfast I have ever had. The King was perhaps the best thing I have ever put in my mouth." The King is a breakfast item at Toast on Market

The King - An intriguing blend of peanut butter, bananas and mascarpone cheese stuffed inside two slices of brioche. 8.25

anyway, Louisville food scene getting a bit of national pub.

Not very good PR for Louisville the matter how you look at it. If that's the best thing he found in Louisville he certainly didn't look very hard.

I've never been a big Jim Rome fan. Too much bluster and not enough substance going on there.

Rome and Mohr are paid to be crass assholes. It's their schtick. People who listen to the show get what they are selling, so it is actually pretty good press for Louisville.
