Any Word on the former L&N Wine Bistro

I pass the site almost daily and have noticed a lot of work on the building lately, including a bright yellow/golden exterior. Anyone know what's going in there? I'm truly disappointed I never gave L&N a try while it was around.

Peg, I understand the Kayrouz family (or some of it) is going to reopen it with pretty much the same model that Len and Nancy left behind. Len often hangs around here, though, and I hope maybe he can tell us more!

Peg, here's a clue from an Aug. 4 forum post by Rich S:

Again, I would love it if Len could give us some info on this.

I ran into Chef Michael Crouch a couple of weeks ago at the Back Door and he is opening in that location soon to be known as Bistro 1860. There will be an emphasis on small plates. Other than that, I do know that he is currently looking for staff and shooting for a mid November opening. We spent most of the night catching up and these are the only details I have.

We heard the same thing from Michael, Dan. They are shooting for a November 19 soft opening.
When in doubt, add more wine.
