Decca Restaurant Releases Event Schedule for October
Jammin’ at Decca, Futur Primitif, and a Whole Beast Feast

October will be another busy month for Decca Restaurant and Lounge at 812 East Market
Street in Louisville, with a lineup including concerts, a festival after party and an outdoor
feast featuring beer, bluegrass, and a billy goat.

The first major event of the month will be Stompin’ at Decca following the Django
Jamboree, an international gathering of gypsy jazz artists on Saturday October 6. The folk
band Aby Laby Land will kick the night off with a show at 8 PM, and host the jam session to
follow from 10 PM until the early morning. The event will be free and open to the public.

Decca’s Cellar Concert Series will begin on Saturday, October 13 with a performance by
singer/songwriter Daniel Lefkowitz’s new duo Futur Primitif. A limited number of tickets to
the show, which will also feature Andrew Ifrate, will be sold for $5 in advance, with more to
be available at the door if weather permits the show to be moved onto the patio.

The following Thursday, October 18, Decca will host an outdoor Whole Beast Feast
featuring bluegrass by the Country City Boys, cocktails and hors d’oeuvre. The three familystyle courses include local goat and will each be paired with a craft beer. Reservations to the
event are limited and cost $100 per person, plus tax and gratuity. A rain date for the event
has been set for Thursday October 25.
