I know this is a Louisville Restaurant forum. But the wife and I travelled to Lexington this morning to help her daughter at her college apartment. We ate a first rate, fabulous breakfast at a place called Doodles. Third and Limestone. Anyone ever been there? I had never even heard of it. But apparently it's very popular there. Maybe it's their Wild Eggs or Lynn's. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!
I've heard good things......we're in Lex most weekends for football games, and always eat breakfast Sunday morning on our way out.
That said, it's impossible to pass up Winchell's.
If you've never been.........go. The best breakfast, ANYWHERE. They pretty much ruined Corned Beef Hash for me, b/c anywhere else I get it, I'm disappointed.
We love Doodles! Funny, my husband and I have stayed a few time's at the Gratz park Inn and have had dinner at Jonathan's. However, one of the staff members told me to go to Doodles for breakfast, lol. It is especially nice to sit outside in good weather
