Local Chefs to compete at Culinary Olympics in Germany

by Dan Thomas » Wed Sep 26, 2012 7:22 am

Every four years, some of the worlds best chefs gather at the World Culinary Olympics. This year's event will be held October 6th through 17th in Erfurt, Germany. I am pleased to share that four very talented young ACF KY Chapter student chefs from Sullivan University will be competeing as professionals. We should be proud to have some of our local chefs competeing in an event of this magnitude. Just the logistics of getting their equipment and show pieces to Germany where the Olympics are held is tough enough without the added pressure of competeing against the world's best in front of large crowds.
Good luck guys and bring back the gold medal! Here's a link that shows some of the work these students will be showcasing.
