If You Want A Perfect Pizza....

by Mike D » Thu Sep 20, 2012 9:38 am

You might want to try Caffe Classico. We have eaten there numerous times but had never tried their pizza until last night. Robin has touted them as being an under-the-radar pizza destination, and I agree 100%. We had the Margherita pizza. It was an outstanding example of an uncomplicated dish. As an added bonus, we enjoyed live guitar music in the back room.

We'll still go to Coal's, and we'll grab a slice at Papalino's when we're in that neighborhood, but I'm putting Caffe Classico in my pizza rotation.

Hooray for your new pizza discovery. Make sure to to try the eggplant parm pizza next time. It's fantastic.

An interesting nuance: Tommie got the pizza recipe from a friend from ... Bosnia! Which is not as strange as it sounds, since Yugoslavia is just around the corner (and across the Adriatic) from Italy. Some of the best pizza I've ever had was in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
