Last night Becky and I made our first trip to New Albany Exchange. It won't be our last. The food was perfectly prepared and presented, and Amber, our server, provided flawless, well-informed service.
We started with three beers from an extensive, interesting menu and with an order of perfectly-prepared frites. Our friends suggested that we use the house-made tartar sauce for dipping, and that suggestion was spot on. Becky had shrimp and grits (one of her go-to dishes whenever she can find it) and pronounced it quite good. I inhaled the dinner special - scallops served over Gorgonzola fingerling potatoes. I added a side of perfectly-prepared Brussels sprouts. One friend had trout that he described as excellent, and the other friend had a big bowl of French onion soup.
We're looking forward to the announced move to downtown New Albany.
