Need some Love for Server in Need

by Nancy R » Sat Sep 01, 2012 9:06 pm

Okay, so Ricky is going to HATE this, but here goes... All you friends of Ricky Woods... He is going through some tough Chemo for the next few months and cannot work (current server at Lillys; former server at L&N). He will be applying for financial relief through APRON Inc. (Praise to APRON!) but that may not kick in until he better knows his exact expenses. In the meantime, if you would like to help him keep his lights on, etc. send your gift to me and I'll make sure he gets it. 1611 Shady Lane, 40205, or PayPal- nancy@landnwinebarandbistro.com. Ricky has no blood family, so it's up to his hospitality family to get him through this.
Thanks, and Love You Ricky!!

Thanks for posting this, Nancy. I hope folks will consider throwing a few bucks into the ring. It's good karma.

So sorry to hear about this.
Please tell him to let APRON know as soon as possible, helping with bills is exactly what we are designed to do. He can now appply online.
In the meantime I'll keep him in my thoughts.

Thanks Gary. Ricky has submitted his application. Robin, thanks for allowing me to post this thread, and many thanks for your kind donation - he was VERY touched. So far, so good, but he has a long way to go.
