Headed to La Coop tonight

I adore mussels, so I will be getting them without a doubt, but there are 3 of us, so what else should we not miss? I have heard such good things, I hope that it is as good as the reports!

Beth, I hope you have a blast! We loved it in a May review dinner, and really didn't have anything we didn't like. The pecan salad was killer, and assuming no change in the menu, all the mains were fine/

Love the scene, which really evokes Paris; and Brett has put together an outstanding beverage program and wine list.

All the Plats were right on, without a flaw. Steak frites ($20) was simple and fine, a medium-pink hanger steak smothered with excellent fries, creamy Bernaise on the side. Coquilles St.-Jacques ($18) looked like a small portion but proved ample, two oversized seared scallops perched on a seductive fennel-and-celeriac ragout. Aubergine farcie ($12) was a veggie delight, a roasted eggplant shell filled with diced veggies, baked and topped with a blanket of earthy Gruyère.

Oh, by the way, like 732 Social before it in that Green Building space, it is LOUD. Go prepared for a happy, noisy scene, but don't plan on quiet conversation.
