The piece says “She’s going to make sure everything we put out is authentic.” ......isn't that what all the Mexican restaurants say, "autentico?" I hope these people know what they are doing. For me its hard to get excited about another mexican restaurant.

According to the article, Jonathan Schwartz (Silver Dollar) will be doing the cooking, so I'd venture that it's likely to be pretty good.

If it's anything like the brunch they're already doing at the dollar it's going to be killer.

Is there any update on this since August? My wife & I walk by it often and it looks like the tables & chairs inside are still sitting where they were when the place closed. Somebody's paying the electric bill - the Avalon signs are still lit at night.

I'd take these folks quite serious- they have a great track record.

I totally agree- this group, plus the fantastic Avalon location can make a killer combination.
