Shady Lane - Hamburger Heaven

by Gayle DeM » Mon Aug 20, 2012 8:43 pm

Hadn't had a humburger in I don't know when. So I stopped by Shady Lane this afternoon - pure hamburger heaven! Just a hamburger, not a cheeseburger, but fully dressed with totally ripe tomatoes, plus lettuce, mayonaise, pickles and a touch of onion. Mmmm good! I don't think there are any better in this town. Great job, Bill!

Totally agree!!! When I want a burger (or a Ruben!), they have the absolute best. Also, they have many more wonderful options on the menu. Fantastic place!

I couldn't agree more. I eat at Shady Lane at -least- 3 or 4 times a week and positively love it. Bill and Susie are rockin out the good stuff. LOVE me some Shady Lane Cafe (I had the Brownsboro Buger with Cheese today).

I pride myself on the hamburgers we serve at 60, but when I want to eat a burger not from my kitchen, Shady Lane easily has the best In my opinion. I just recently found this place and was distraught last week when Bill was on vacation, I wanted some of his food so badly! Love.

Love me some Shady Lane! It's one of the places around town where I'll routinely go for my own enjoyment even when I'm not reviewing.
