Raisin Kane's??

Saw they are opening up a store in old Twister Custard by Springhurst off Westport.

Looks like their menu is only chicken fingers which is ironic as they will be across street from Chic-Fil-A.

Anyone ever been? Not exactly fine dining, but anytime I hear chicken, my ears perk up.

If you love Chicken Fingers, then Raisin' Canes is for you. They are a Louisiana based fast food concept whose gimmick is that they have 4 items on their menu and ALL of them are chicken fingers. Chicken finger basket, chicken finger sandwich and chicken finger salad.

They trade on their "special sauce," but they also recently changed the recipe and it has not been as good as it once was. (It's honey mustard and hot sauce with some spices tossed in)

Raisin' Canes is pretty good, for a dedicated chicken finger place.

French fries!

If I recall correctly it's just a bigger finger basket.

And fries come with everything, except maybe the salad, but I wouldn't count on it..

Love Raising Canes and an I am very glad that it is coming here, but their sauce is more like 3 parts ketchup to one part mayo with Worcestershire sauce and black pepper. I make it all the time at home and it is pretty dead on.
