Habana Blues?

by Mark R. » Sun Aug 12, 2012 12:58 pm

Does anyone know what's going on with the Habana Blues restaurant on Hurstbourne? We went by last night about 8:30 PM and it was completely dark with no cars in the parking lot. I know they usually close at 10:00 PM on the weekends. We checked but there was no sign on the door or anything.

Sorry to hear that. You would think they would have at least put a sign on the door and give you the location of their other restaurant!

We were in there a few weeks back for lunch and we were the only ones there the entire time. Sorry it did not work out for them.

That's a tough location - hard to get in and out. Many restaurants have tried to make a go of it there and ended up moving on, including Tony Boombozz. There's a sushi place a couple of doors down from Habana Blues that has amazingly cheap specials (hibachi lunch with salad & fried rice for $6! half-priced sushi!) and is always almost empty when I go.
