This is strictly unofficial, Fred, but word on the street has it that Mazzoni's is not closing but moving. Look for it to pop up in Middletown.

I heard the same thing - something about relocation to the center where the old Furrow store used to be. Maybe someone from their place could confirm that? Oh Greeeeeeggggggg......................

I heard from a very good source that the whole corner was being razed...Air Devil's Inn, Mazzoni's. My Dad was a fly boy there in the 50's....a bit of history gone it seems.

Let me guess..............Walgreens wants to build a pharmacy there. They seem to be targeting restaurants now. Stop the Insanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (where is Susan Powter now?))

Went by Mazzoni's today. To busy to go in. Very open.

The lease sign is up, but also a sign by Mazzonis that said "lost our lease See you in Middletown mid December."

Owner has talked about for some time moving to the Middletown area. Don't know just were, but he has mentioned the Furrows site.

How many drug stores does this town need?
