A Great B-Day Dinner At Blind Pig

by BevP » Sun Aug 05, 2012 2:06 pm

Last night I chose to go to The Blind Pig for my birthday. Today is actually my birthday but due to my oldest son working tonight it was best to go last night. Anyway he had never been, and he was in for a treat. It was me ,hubby two adult sons we got there a few minutes before our reservation but had no problem being seated. We ordered the Charcuterie plate and of course my oyster fritters for apps.I think older son got one oyster I ate the rest .
Dinner older son got the Cassolet he never finishes anything always takes some home he cleaned his plate...younger son got the pork belly , hubby had the shepards pie and I had the pork loin chop with mashed parsnips and succotash. There was not a bite to be had left on any plate and we were passing around tastes of everything. I suggested going to comfy cow for dessert more as a joke cause I knew I couldnt handle it got only one raised eyebrow,so maybe next time.
A wonderful meal for 4 for about 160 bucks after tax and tip

Happy Birthday!

That cassoulet is one of my favorite things- I hope it doesn't go away...

Thank you Bev!
I am so happy you chose The Blind Pig for your birthday dinner!
I am glad you enjoyed everything and that we could make you happy on your day.
Means so much to me to hear when people have had a good experience and enjoyed dining here.
Hope you have many happy returns! :D
