Power was out 8:30-10:00 for me, near Speed/Norris. Nothing too horrible, used a laptop to watch a B-movie with the boys...I just don't want another 3-4 day outage like last time....
A couple hours, no problem at home. But I know at a restaurant it isn't so easy.

I went out front to inform the FOH mgr, at which time the lights flickered and went out. About that time, a server who was about 8 months and too many days pregnant popped up and said she thought she might be having labor pains. No tornado baby that night, but it had the potential to be a night to remember. Also, I shut off all gas appliances and took my kitchen crew to the cellar until the all clear. Took some heat for that, but I'll be darned if I'll die so some yuppie could have Green Chile Won-tons.
