There are only two meat-like things I miss since going vegan: White Castle double cheese burgers with Dusseldorf mustard and Skyline Chili, four way onion. Not steak, not pork chops, not bacon...
If it's true, welcome back Whitey

I don't think anybody needs to worry about the Aluminum Room being some hyper-political animal. It looks like they donate about $20K a year to political causes so about $50 per store. And paying about $30 million a year for industry-leading health care contributions for it's employees. I'm kinda thinking they're pretty much the good guys in the fast food context.

Personal disclosure: I eat exactly two jalapeno double cheeseburgers every year and they make me happy.

White Castle was my first job and my entry into the foodservice business. Whether you like the food or not, they are one of the cleanest fast food chains, they pay well above the industry standard and have excellent benefits.

Oh man, you never let my parents hear you say anything negative about WC! They grew up during the Great Depression and were always quick to point out how many people would have starved if not for nickel hamburgers aNd cups of coffee from WC (as well as providing a warm environment to sometimes escape from the elements.)
And , as previously noted, they are scrupulously clean and pay benefits to their workers. Giving to the GOP? Well hey, it got them another depression didn't it?!

CEO E.W. “Bill” Ingram III, grandson of the company founder, gives to the GOP. White Castle’s PAC contributes almost exclusively to Republican candidates."

Enjoy. I'll be elsewhere....

So I can only eat at restaurants who donate to the LP?

Im gonna starve.

Anyone know what's happening with the property next door to the new White Castle, where they're tearing down the Patriot auto service station?
