Chef Michael Crouch of Bourbons Bistro, Chef Josh Moore of Volare and Chef John Varanese of Varanese will collaborate on a second Frankfort Avenue Progressive Dinner on Tuesday, Aug. 7. The evening will begin with an appetizer at Volare, followed by the before they proceed to the entrée at Varanese, ending with dessert at Bourbons Bistro. A door prize from Secrets boutique will be given during dessert.

Baked rolls of eggplant with ricotta, marinara and a balsamic reduction
Gnocchi alla Anatra
Potato gnocchi, roasted duck, caramelized leeks,
and applewood bacon in a Gorgonzola cream

Pecan encrusted mahi mahi atop whipped sweet potatoes
finished with a honey butter sauce
Bourbon barrel smoked pork chop topped with an apple-bacon chutney
served with a gratin potato
Bourbon barrel smoked salmon and linguine tossed with sundried tomatoes,
baby spinach and capers in a goat cheese cream sauce
Chili rubbed flat iron steak sliced atop pickled cucumber, watermelon
and heirloom tomatoes with roasted Peruvian potatoes and chimichurri

The cost of the three course dinner is $50 per person, which includes tax and tip. Reservations will be taken for start times between 5 and 7 p.m., allowing diners to proceed to each course as they choose. Seating is limited. For reservations call 894-4446.
