I was checking out Trip Advisor.com and read about this cafe. Has anybody been to it? I could not find any info in this forum.

Oh yeah, it's splendid. It is the successor to the Cafe that used to be in the Goss Avenue Antique Mall. Excellent option for lunch.

Here's my review from its 2007 opening. (The other place in the review is no longer open.)

We've been many times. Very casual, dependably very good food and service.

It's great. Try the bean salad side.
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.

Madeline, introduce yourself to Sal rubino, the owner. Great place for downtown lunch or breakfast. I am meeting some one there this week.

My favorite thing to order is the tomato dill soup...I know that sounds odd but I have never cared for tomato soup until I had theirs. I also love their bean side salad as mentioned before.

I really like their Benedictine sandwich ("The Queen Anne"). My husband and I went once for breakfast and didn't care for it as much as their lunch. Beware though, they do get busy around peak lunch times. They take reservations though which definitely helps.
