Mike Best's Meat Market - Westport Village closed

Just noticed that the Mike Best's Meat Market in Westport Village is closed. This is the location he opened after closing the Brownsboro Road location that is now Henry's Place. The signs say space for lease, with no other explanations. All the display cases are still inside.

Heard some ugly rumors about why he closed - anyone have the facts?

Haven't heard anything, thanks for information about them being closed. I can't say it surprises me at all. The last few times we were in there there was hardly anything in the fresh case and no other customers. I'm not quite sure why they moved but they were never the same afterwards.
