Bastille Day Celebration the 15th in New Albany?

by Deb Hall » Wed Jul 11, 2012 7:09 pm

Has anyone been to the Bastille Day Celebration before? It's supposed to be a street party in New Albany at Louis Le Francais this Sunday. I only have a flyer- which confuses me as it says it's the "23rd annual"- but Louis only opened last year...? We were thinking of taking our 8 year old.
Any input?
Thanks,
Deb

Bank Street Brewhouse usually does something special, but they haven't been there for 23 years either.

Strange that it's Sunday considering Bastille day is Saturday.

I never got any kind of news release or announcement, Deb. A Bastille Day street festival associated with Louis, though, it probably wouldn't just be a waste of a gallon or two of gas. ;)

He had a full house last night. We had our first visit and all went well. Had a large group from sister Cities (Montpelier) in this case who all stood and sang the Marseillaise.
My guess is that today's celebration didn't interfere witha good business night.
He and Betty are wonderful.;
