I wouldn't mind a brunch, but I'm having a hard time making up my mind. Probably Crescent Hill or Highlands or anywhere east to Middletown and Prospect. Gimme your best hits! Extra credit for something I haven't tried yet. 8)

We really enjoyed the brunch at Majid's (open at 11:00), but it's not a buffet. Also, Grape Leaf is a nice and different brunch option.

To touch on someplace you might not have been .... I'm really curious about SWAY. They are doing breakfast, it may not be a traditional brunch, but it might be an interesting experiment. I've been curious about peoples reactions to it.

It seemed to open strong, and the menus sound good. But it's kind of dropped out of sight. I'm Wondering what you might think of it.

Thanks, all! I'm normally an urban guy myself, but since we were already in St. Matthews and went to brunch with a couple who live in the East End, we headed east and ended up at Anchorage Cafe. Pretty good brunch, and it reminded me that we really still need to get out there for dinner.

Love me some Silver Dollar, but I've written it up for both LEO (dinner) and the Voice-Tribune (brunch). One of the challenges of being a food writer, assuming I don't want to be known as "The Food Writer Who Needs An Extra-Large Chair," is that I can't often afford to go back to a place that I can't review.
