You are never too old

Something I read in another thread reminded me of this thought you all may enjoy , Robin if it doesn't belong here feel free to move it.
Last weekend my hubby's dear cousin passed and we all attended the funeral and as tradition with our family we gathered for a meal afterward .His siblings chose a Mexican place in Radcliff, my Father in Law is 76 years old and quite set in his ways but loves his family dearly. This was his very first visit to a Mexican Restaurant of any kind. He ordered Chicken soup. He was so amazed when they brought the chips and salsa first then the soup had to be in a 2 quart bowl. The man was in heaven, he asked the next day,"Bertha(his wife) what was that vegetable in that soup?", she told him it was an avocado! He loved every bite!
I am so blessed to have my Father in Law and Mother in Law.

Post on, Bev. I love this!

If you remember (or can find out) exactly what Mexican restaurant it was, it would be a nice gesture to them to name it. But it's no big deal. Thanks for posting.

Oh, and condolences on the loss of your hubby's cousin. That deserves mention even after your report gave us a smile. :)
